About Me
I'm an Italian Product Leader based in Amsterdam. I left my own country to follow my endless curiosity and ride the wave of innovation instead of fighting it. In fact, I moved to leverage my deep knowledge in Linguistics to teach machines how to understand human language. In doing so, I developed a strong expertise in Machine Learning and AI. I now use that same curiosity that has always characterised me, to solve real world problems finding creative applications of my technical knowledge. I thrive translating innovative solutions into concrete business value and mentoring professionals in growing their careers in Tech.
Journey & Milestones

2015–2018
BA in Linguistics in Siena, including Erasmus experience in Spain. Built communication skills that still shape how I work with international teams today and paved my way to Computational Linguistics (AI).

2019–2020
Gap year reset during COVID. Used the time to reflect, recalibrate, and chart a new direction toward technology and AI by turning uncertainty into intentional career design.

2020–2021
Master's in Artificial Intelligence (cum laude, thesis award). Leveraged my Linguistics knowledge to build strong technical expertise in Natural Language Processing (AI) and developed hands-on experience with state-of-the-art LLMs using Python.

Academic Background
Bachelor's in Linguistics & Cultural Mediation - Università per Stranieri di Siena
Built a strong foundation in how language works, clear communication, and cross-cultural thinking.
Learned to analyze text with precision, skills that later transferred well to data and product work, as well as working effectively in a intercultural environment. Developed proficiency in English, Spanish, and Japanese languages.
Finally, I developed the Linguistics expertise that paved my way to Computational Linguistics (AI).
Master's (cum laude) in Artificial Intelligence - Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
Developed practical machine learning and data skills to turn unstructured text into insights. Applied Natural Language Processing methods end-to-end (from data prep to modeling and evaluation) with a bias toward real product impact. I also got to experiment with fine-tuning Transformer based LLMs (e.g. BERT, GPT-2) on Python before they became mainstream with the advent of ChatGPT.
Thesis Title: "A Transfer Learning approach to Aspect Based Sentiment Analysis for airline customer feedbacks".
With this thesis I was included in the shortlist for the faculty Thesis Award of the VU Amsterdam.
